Richmond County Schools is starting the new school year by celebrating the district’s Cognia Systems Accreditation. Cognia is a global nonprofit organization that provides quality assurance and recognizes schools that deliver high-quality education and ensure continuous improvement.
Three outstanding educators have been named Teacher, Principal, and Assistant Principal of the Year. These individuals have been recognized for their exceptional dedication to inspiring excellence within their school communities and will represent the district throughout the upcoming year.
More than 95 middle school students recently attended Career and Technical Education (CTE) camps at Richmond Senior High School. These camps offered students the chance to explore a variety of skills available through Richmond County Schools' CTE programs. With 12 different camps to choose from, students could delve into areas such as firefighting, digital photography, electricity, health sciences, and automotive skills.
